Core rules

• Facts, allegations, analysis and opinion are labelled and kept distinct.
• A claim is never upgraded to fact because it appears in a social post or user submission.
• Primary documents and direct sources are preferred; material claims are attributed.
• Headlines must be supported by the article and may not manufacture certainty.
• Errors are corrected promptly and material changes are logged.
• Sponsors and donors have no right to select, suppress or rewrite coverage.

Source policy

The automated breaking wire accepts only non-Iranian international publishers and institutions. Iranian editorial and civic sites remain outside ingestion, even when linked elsewhere as a public directory. Diversity across US, Israeli, Arab, UK, global and rights sources reduces dependence on any one newsroom.

Opinion and advocacy

Strong viewpoints may appear in clearly labelled analysis, commentary or campaign coverage. They are not allowed to overwrite factual reporting or the status of disputed claims.
