Israeli gymnast Artem Dolgopyat wins third European title in floor exercise

Israeli gymnast Artem Dolgopyat added another major achievement to his career on Friday by winning the European Championship title in the floor exercise in Zagreb. Dolgopyat secured the gold medal with a score of 14.466 points. This victory marks his third European title in the event, following his previous wins in 2020 and 2022. In addition to his gold medals, he has earned four silver medals at the European Championships. Dolgopyat’s career includes a gold medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and a silver at the Paris 2024 Games, alongside three World Championship medals—gold in 2023 and silver in 2017 and 2019. Avi Sagi, chairman of the Israel Gymnastics Federation, praised Dolgopyat’s determination and talent, stating that he continues to deliver tremendous achievements for the State of Israel on the world's biggest stages.
