Sephora Collection products launch in Israel

Sephora Collection products became available on Wednesday at the Azrieli and Ayalon malls in Tel Aviv, as well as at five Glam 42 locations across Israel. The launch features over 130 makeup, skincare, and beauty accessory products as part of a pilot program to assess the local market. While many customers welcomed the brand's arrival, reports indicate that prices for some items are higher than abroad, which has been attributed in part to differences in value-added tax, though some products are priced similarly or lower. Both Sephora and the local importer, Glam 42, have clarified that this arrangement does not constitute the opening of official Sephora retail stores in Israel. Sephora stated that it has signed a temporary sales agreement with Glam 42 to offer a selection of its private-label products. Glam 42 further emphasized that the items are authentic products sourced directly from France and that the company remains an independent retailer, clarifying that this activity does not represent the establishment of the Sephora chain in the country.
