Ben-Gvir claims eight senior Likud figures sought to join Otzma Yehudit

Regarding a policy shift, Ben-Gvir expressed surprise at Defense Minister Israel Katz's decision to transfer policing authority over Israeli residents in Samaria from the IDF to the Israel Police. While stating his respect for Katz, Ben-Gvir argued that the decision was made without prior consultation and that the police would require additional resources and authority to manage the new responsibilities effectively. Additionally, Ben-Gvir praised the Israel Police for their efforts in locating two Israeli citizens in Argentina, describing the operation as a testament to the state's commitment to its citizens abroad.
