Former US Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene claimed on X that senior US administration officials are discussing the possibility of using nuclear weapons against Iran during strategy meetings. Emphasizing that her statement was not speculative, she wrote, "I know." However, Greene has failed to provide any evidence to support this controversial allegation.

The former congresswoman further alleged that the Trump administration is considering lowering the threshold for the use of nuclear weapons against Iran and is prioritizing Israeli intelligence assessments over American intelligence regarding Tehran's nuclear capabilities. She warned that such a move could lead to global escalation and a "nuclear disaster."

To date, no official from the White House or other US government agencies has confirmed these claims. Analysts view these remarks as an unusual statement from a former politician, rather than an indication of a shift in official US policy regarding the use of nuclear weapons against Iran.
