Polish man arrested for ordering 300 pizzas and threatening residents

Poland’s Central Bureau for Combating Cybercrime has arrested a 23-year-old resident of Szczecin for identity theft and harassment. The suspect allegedly used the personal information of local residents and politicians, including addresses and phone numbers, to place hundreds of pizza orders in their names. In one instance, 300 pizzas worth 8,583 euros were delivered to unsuspecting victims. Investigators stated that the orders included threats of kidnapping and arson, causing significant distress to those targeted. The suspect is currently detained and faces up to eight years in prison on charges of harassment, identity fraud, and causing substantial financial losses to local businesses.
