According to Deadline, Mark Shapiro, president and COO of TKO Group Holdings, stated that the WWE Crown Jewel event will proceed this Saturday in Saudi Arabia. This comes despite the ongoing war in Iran and recent escalations that led to the cancellation of the Red Sea Film Festival and other cultural events. Speaking during TKO’s third-quarter earnings call, Shapiro noted that the risk of cancellation is 'extremely minimal,' though the event has been moved from an outdoor stadium to an indoor arena as a security adjustment.
