Sweeney demands discipline from card-happy England

According to BBC Sport, Bill Sweeney, chief executive of the Rugby Football Union (RFU), stated that England is the second-best side in the world when they keep 15 players on the pitch, but disciplinary issues have hindered their performance. During the Six Nations campaign, England received eight yellow cards and one red, resulting in 118 minutes of play with a numerical disadvantage. Sweeney noted that internal analysis shows England's performance drops to eighth or ninth in the world when down to 14 players. Head coach Steve Borthwick is working to address this issue. Meanwhile, Sweeney acknowledged challenges in ticket sales for the Nations Championship finals at Allianz Stadium, Twickenham, and mentioned that organizers are evaluating future hosting options for the tournament.
