Election results upheld after unprecedented review

According to Arutz Sheva, Israel's Central Elections Committee announced on Wednesday that after a thorough review of the 26th Knesset election results, no evidence of irregularities compromising the integrity of the elections or altering the outcome was found. The review, which lasted from October 28 to November 3, 2026, involved examining protocols from 9,069 polling stations (approximately 75% of the total), marking a 78% increase compared to the previous election. Committee Chairman Justice Noam Sohlberg emphasized that this unprecedented operation was conducted to ensure the results accurately reflected the voters' will. During the process, 2,452 inquiries from political factions and 1,239 public complaints were examined, and the final results were prepared for submission to Israeli President Isaac Herzog.
