Escalation of Conflict Between Houthis and Saudi Arabia

According to Alhurra, Saudi Arabia announced that it intercepted and destroyed five ballistic and cruise missiles launched by the Houthis toward Riyadh and the central, eastern, and southern regions of the Kingdom. Coalition spokesperson Turki Al-Maliki stated on X that falling debris caused damage to an administrative building belonging to Saudi Aramco in Riyadh, with no casualties reported. Conversely, the Houthis claimed that at least 33 people were killed and 39 others injured in Saudi airstrikes on the village of Al-Shariya, east of Sanaa. These clashes occur as the United Nations warns that violence has returned to levels seen before the 2022 ceasefire, with the World Health Organization reporting nearly 1,800 deaths and over 300,000 displaced by the end of October.
