IRGC shifts strategy and identifies new targets

According to Channel 14 Israel, there is a dispute within the IRGC leadership, resulting in heavy pressure to take action in the Strait of Hormuz. One faction is pushing to increase pressure on passing vessels to create 'facts on the ground,' while the other prefers using media pressure on Donald Trump to push him toward a favorable agreement for Iran. However, all sides agree on exerting pressure and threats against regional countries to convince them that the United States cannot help them. It is also expected that the IRGC will ask the Houthis to continue exerting heavy pressure on Saudi Arabia. Currently, the IRGC's top priority is to demonstrate power to discourage the public from taking to the streets to protest.
