US and allies push for IAEA to refer Iran to UN Security Council

According to the Jerusalem Post, diplomats have stated that the United States and its allies are working to persuade the IAEA Board of Governors to refer Iran's nuclear file to the UN Security Council. If passed, this resolution would serve as a follow-up to the measure adopted on June 12, 2025. That previous resolution was passed one day before Israel commenced its bombing campaign against Iranian nuclear sites. The IAEA has not yet released further details regarding these diplomatic efforts.
