Sheran Yeini expresses interest in returning to Maccabi Tel Aviv in a management role

Sheran Yeini, the former captain and icon of Maccabi Tel Aviv, discussed his professional future and the possibility of returning to the club in a recent appearance on the 'HaKontra' podcast. Yeini, who has shifted his focus to business and investments since retiring from professional football, emphasized that Maccabi remains 'home' to him. While he noted that he is currently unavailable due to his involvement in other projects, he expressed interest in contributing to the club in the future, specifically in professional management or youth department roles. Yeini proposed implementing leadership workshops for youth players to help them navigate the transition to the senior squad and understand the club's expectations. 'I absolutely know how to create more players like me, because I learned what I lacked as a leader and how to acquire those traits,' he stated. Yeini also praised his former teammate Eran Zahavi, describing him as a highly capable candidate for future management roles within the club.
