Tijjani Reijnders completes £52m move from Manchester City to Saudi club Al Qadsiah

Dutch international Tijjani Reijnders has left Manchester City to join Saudi Pro League side Al Qadsiah. Reports indicate that the team managed by Brendan Rodgers paid £52 million to secure the 28-year-old. Reijnders, who joined City from AC Milan last summer, scored seven goals in 47 appearances and helped the club win the League Cup and FA Cup. The move comes as Manchester City undergoes significant squad changes, having signed Elliot Anderson for £116 million and nearing an £85m deal for Morocco international Ayyoub Bouaddi, while Rodri and Bernardo Silva have departed the club. Reijnders, who made three appearances for the Netherlands at the 2026 World Cup, had been training apart from the main squad under new coach Enzo Maresca prior to the transfer. Al Qadsiah, who finished fourth in the Saudi Pro League last season, previously signed Reijnders' international teammate Crysencio Summerville.
