Josh Stewart signs with Gersh following Ang Lee collaboration

American actor Josh Stewart has signed with the Gersh agency for representation across all areas following his work on Ang Lee’s new film, 'Gold Mountain'. The news was reported exclusively by Deadline. 'Gold Mountain', which has recently wrapped production, is an adaptation of C Pam Zhang’s novel 'How Much of These Hills Is Gold'. The screenplay was adapted by Pulitzer Prize finalist Chang-rae Lee. Stewart stars in the film alongside Chidi Ajufo, Sophia Shu, Yao, Zane Tseng, and Owen Teague. Details regarding his role remain undisclosed. Stewart is currently featured in two high-profile summer projects: Christopher Nolan’s 'Odyssey', in which he plays Antiphates, king of the giant Laestrygonians, and 'The Madison', a Yellowstone spin-off for Paramount+ where he portrays Sheriff Handy Wade opposite Kelly Reilly and Annette Bening. Stewart has previously collaborated with Nolan on 'Tenet', 'Interstellar', and 'The Dark Knight Rises'.
