Roy Sasson leaves Hapoel Petah Tikva to join Bnei Reineh

Goalkeeper Roy Sasson, 24, has officially parted ways with Hapoel Petah Tikva after joining the club only this summer. He has signed with Bnei Reineh in the National League, where he is expected to serve as the starting goalkeeper. Sasson, a product of Beitar Jerusalem who has also played for Bnei Yehuda and Hapoel Kfar Shalem, had joined Petah Tikva on loan this summer to compete with Omer Katz, making two appearances in the Toto Cup. Following his departure, young Amit Mashiah is set to become the second-choice goalkeeper for Petah Tikva. Sasson's arrival at Bnei Reineh facilitates the departure of Lior Gliklich, who holds an Austrian passport and has received an offer from Wolfsberger in the Austrian top flight. Sasson is expected to make his debut for Bnei Reineh in Sunday's match against Kiryat Yam.
