Israeli police officer reveals how he tracked down missing mother and daughter in Argentina

Chief Superintendent Walter Alejandro Kogan, the Israel Police representative in South America, has spoken publicly about the operation to locate Mali and Liel Yahalomi in Argentina. In a video released by the Israel Police on Sunday, Kogan explained that he initiated a rapid inquiry as soon as it was confirmed the mother and daughter had entered the country. Working in coordination with Argentine police, Interpol, and the Israel Police Intelligence Division, Kogan tracked the pair to a location outside Buenos Aires. Upon locating them, he confirmed they were safe and that no crime had been committed. Kogan, who previously served as an investigations and intelligence officer at the Arad police station in Israel, noted that the operation concluded successfully. The Israel Police stated that its overseas representatives frequently collaborate with foreign law enforcement to assist in urgent cases involving missing Israeli citizens.
