Missing Israeli man found dead in forest near Tiberias after 10-day search

The body of 24-year-old Katrial Nachman Kinan of Beit Shemesh, who had been missing for about ten days after setting out for Safed, was found Thursday afternoon in the Switzerland Forest near Tiberias. Israeli police confirmed the body was sent to the Abu Kabir forensic institute to determine the circumstances of his death, and his family has been notified. Kinan was last seen in the area of Gai Beach on the Sea of Galilee. His family reported that he disappeared last Monday after sending a message to his mother stating his phone battery was running low. His brother, Daniel, had stated earlier Thursday that the family was reviewing security footage, which showed Kinan entering the tomb of Rabbi Meir Baal HaNes before leaving. The search involved police, volunteers, drones, and canine units.
