Jacob Elordi in talks to star in Ari Aster’s ‘Eddington’
According to Variety, Oscar-nominated actor Jacob Elordi is in negotiations to join Ari Aster’s new film, 'Eddington'. The A24 project already features fellow Oscar nominee Scarlett Johansson in the lead role. Plot details for the film remain strictly confidential, and the production team has yet to release an official synopsis. Despite this, various speculative reports have emerged regarding the film's potential subject matter. Some early reports have described the project as a thriller concerning a doctor performing surgery on an internet celebrity. Other accounts suggest it may be a science-fiction romance or a more traditional drama, a genre closer to Aster's previous work. Variety has emphasised that none of these plot details have been officially confirmed. Should Elordi finalise his deal, he will star alongside Johansson in the film directed by Aster, who is best known for his work on 'Hereditary' and 'Midsommar'.
