Abu Dhabi’s Red Dunes Games makes a bigger play for Japan at Tokyo Game Show 2026

Abu Dhabi-based Red Dunes Games, which first attended the Tokyo Game Show years ago with a modest presence and no standalone booth, has established a major footprint at Tokyo Game Show 2026 with a large, souq-inspired pavilion. Founders Sultan Al Darmaki and Mohamed Al Jneibi are hosting developers and partners from across Asia and Europe, showcasing nine games including Port of Jumanah, Zozo and the Lost Dreams, and Samurai Pizza Cats: Blast from the Past! UAE Ambassador to Japan Shihab Al Faheem visited the booth, praising the company's growth over the past five years and noting the expanding ties between the UAE and Japanese gaming sectors, which also recently saw the addition of the Yas Marina Circuit to Gran Turismo 7. Al Darmaki and Al Jneibi stated that the company is now looking toward larger-scale projects and working behind the scenes with well-known international intellectual properties.
