US forces strike Iranian launchers in Hormuz; IRGC targets Jordan in response

United States military forces have struck Iranian missile launchers in the Strait of Hormuz, marking the first direct American strike against Iranian positions in a month. According to the Times of Israel, the strike occurred while the launchers were being prepared for firing. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) confirmed the incident, reporting the martyrdom and injury of several of its fighters. In response to the American strike, the IRGC launched an attack targeting Jordan. Reports indicate that the retaliatory strike against Jordan resulted in no casualties.
