Group attacks seven Jewish tourists at Barcelona port

Seven French Jewish tourists were surrounded by a mob of hundreds at the port of Barcelona and subjected to 40 minutes of harassment. Jimmy Zagron, one of the victims, told a French television network that the incident began when a woman displaying pro-Palestinian symbols identified the group, some of whom were wearing kippahs or traditional Hasidic attire. The woman began shouting slogans, which quickly drew a large crowd around the tourists. During the 40-minute ordeal, the group was subjected to verbal abuse, spitting, and chants including 'baby killers,' 'Jews are not welcome here,' and 'death to Israel.' Zagron stated that he attempted to explain to the attackers that he was a French citizen with no connection to Israel, but the harassment continued. Eventually, the seven tourists were forced to split up to escape the crowd and managed to return safely to their hotel.
