The Last House, a thriller produced by Netflix and Chernin Entertainment, has claimed the top spot on the Netflix Top 10 film list after securing 27.1 million views in its first week of release. According to Deadline, this figure marks the fifth-highest opening for a Netflix original film in 2026. With this performance, Chernin Entertainment now holds two of the most-watched original Netflix titles this year. The film Apex previously debuted in April with 38.2 million views. The Last House, which was released on the platform last week, features a cast including Noah Alexander Sosnowski, Wagner Moura, Greta Lee, and Riley Chung.
