Former Mossad Chief: I Estimate Another Military Operation Will Take Place in Iran

According to Walla, former Mossad chief Yossi Cohen, speaking at the Taglit Global Business Conference in Tel Aviv, stated that he estimates another targeted military operation will eventually take place against Iran. He claimed that Iran is advancing its capabilities and potentially renovating facilities, and that Israel must ensure these capabilities do not remain in Tehran's hands. Expressing skepticism regarding Iran's good faith in negotiations, Cohen supported President Trump's insistence on a 'good deal.' He praised the recent military cooperation between Israel and the U.S. as the realization of a long-standing goal, claiming that the strikes significantly damaged Iran's nuclear and missile capabilities. However, Cohen clarified that he does not believe the Iranian regime can be toppled solely through external action, stating that this is something the Iranians themselves must do. He also addressed the rise in antisemitism globally and emphasized the Mossad's role in ensuring the safety of Jewish communities worldwide.
