Five Nights at Freddy’s interactive restaurant to open in New Jersey
As fans of the Five Nights at Freddy’s franchise await the third film in the video game adaptation series, an interactive restaurant named Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza is scheduled to open in New Jersey next year. The restaurant will be located within the American Dream shopping and entertainment complex in Bergen County. Visitors will be able to dine on pizza, play arcade games, and watch performances by the franchise's iconic animatronic characters. Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza is the name of the fictional, haunted restaurant featured in the Five Nights at Freddy’s games and their film adaptations. This venue is set to operate as the world’s first permanent interactive restaurant directly tied to the franchise. A spokesperson for the project told the New Jersey news outlet Patch that the fast-casual restaurant is being developed in collaboration with ScottGames, the company owned by the game’s creator, Scott Cawthon. The first Five Nights at Freddy’s film was released in 2023. Promotional imagery from the production featured Kevin Foster as Freddy Fazbear alongside Piper Rubio. Actor Matthew Lillard, who appears in the series, previously commented on the second instalment, noting that his role is not particularly large and suggesting the possibility of a final confrontation within a trilogy.
