Sadhguru and Graphic India to produce Shiva: Adiyogi animated film

Indian yogi and mystic Sadhguru is collaborating with studio Graphic India to produce the feature-length animated film Shiva: Adiyogi. The project will recount the origin story of the Hindu deity Shiva and his emergence as the first yogi. According to Variety, Sadhguru and Graphic India co-founder Sharad Devarajan share story credits for the film. Devarajan will also serve as a producer, co-writer, and co-creator of the project. Graphic India is the studio behind the mythological animated series The Legend of Hanuman, which has become a prominent franchise in Indian animation. Devarajan was also a co-creator of that series. Shiva: Adiyogi is the latest project to adapt Indian mythological and religious narratives into cinematic animation for a wider audience. Further details regarding the director, voice cast, release date, and distribution have not yet been announced.
