Authorities expose drone smuggling network, arrest suspects

The Lahav 433 unit of the Israel Police, in coordination with the Israel Tax Authority, has uncovered a network importing drones from China. According to official reports, these drones were allegedly transferred to criminal elements and utilized for the smuggling of weapons and drugs in southern Israel. During the operation, authorities seized a shipment of approximately 30 drones. Three suspects were arrested in connection with the investigation. The detention of two suspects has been extended until August 25, while the third individual was released under restrictive conditions. Israel Police stated that the investigation is ongoing and that further arrests are expected.
