Haredi extremists riot against Jerusalem Light Rail construction; at least 2 arrested

Reports from Jerusalem indicate that a group of Haredi extremists rioted in protest against the light rail construction project. Israeli police confirmed that at least two individuals have been arrested. One suspect is being investigated for allegedly setting fire to a portion of the construction site. According to television reports, several of the demonstrators involved had previously been investigated for their participation in a riot held in June outside the home of the deputy chief of the Supreme Court.
