Anan Khalaili joins Crystal Palace in record-breaking transfer

Crystal Palace has officially announced the signing of 21-year-old Israeli international forward Anan Khalaili from Belgian club Union Saint-Gilloise. The transfer, valued at approximately £21 million (€25 million), makes him the most expensive Israeli player in history. Khalaili has signed a contract until the summer of 2031 with an option for a sixth year, with a reported annual salary of £1.5 million. A portion of the fee, approximately €3 million, will be paid to his former club, Maccabi Haifa.
