UAE calls for public participation in shaping 55th National Day celebrations

Organisers of Eid Al Etihad, which marks the formation of the UAE on December 2, 1971, have announced a series of workshops across all seven emirates throughout September. The initiative aims to integrate the memories and experiences of the nation's multicultural society into this year's festivities. Eisa Alsubousi, Director of Strategic and Creative Affairs for the 55th Eid Al Etihad, stated that the workshops provide a platform for the public to share ideas and contribute directly to the celebration's design. The workshops will commence in Fujairah on September 10 and conclude in Abu Dhabi on September 24. Interested participants must register by September 8, after which selected individuals will be contacted. Eid Al Etihad, the official title for the UAE's National Day, serves as a symbol of unity, heritage, and national pride, traditionally marked by grand ceremonies attended by the country's leadership.
