Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Water Award Accepts Entries Until 30 September 2026

The UAE Water Aid Foundation (Suqia UAE) has announced that the fifth cycle of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Water Award is accepting entries until 30 September 2026. The award, which carries a total prize value of USD 1 million, aims to promote sustainable solutions for water scarcity and improve access to safe water in affected communities. Operating under the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, the program seeks to leverage advanced technology to assist underprivileged populations. HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Suqia UAE, stated that the award provides a platform for innovators to scale their projects globally. The competition is divided into four categories: Innovative Projects, Innovative Research and Development, Innovative Individual Awards, and Innovative Crisis Solutions. Applicants are required to provide comprehensive data, including field results and performance metrics, to assist the judging panel in their evaluation.
