According to Arutz Sheva, Ebrahim Azizi, chairman of the Iranian parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, stated that the US midterm election results would not change Iran's approach, asserting that "Dems or GOP, it's all the same to us." He accused President Donald Trump of miscalculating in his dealings with Tehran. Another lawmaker, Fatemeh Maghsoudi, argued that both US parties share hostility toward Iran and support for Israel. Meanwhile, President Trump told the Financial Times that indirect negotiations with Iran are ongoing and expressed satisfaction with the current situation. The Iranian Embassy in India also mocked the election results by posting an AI-generated video on X depicting President Trump being thrown into a dumpster.
