‘Married at First Sight’ U.K. Canceled by Channel 4 Following Sexual Assault Allegations

According to Variety, Channel 4 has confirmed the cancellation of 'Married at First Sight' U.K. following allegations of sexual assault on the show. The series, based on an Australian format and produced by CPL, featured experts matching strangers who met on their wedding day. Earlier this year, a BBC 'Panorama' investigation alleged three instances of sexual assault occurred during the series. The accused men have denied the allegations. At the time of the documentary, it was understood that the complaints had not been reported to the police, though one individual was subsequently arrested on suspicion of rape.
