Asa Tribe barred from England Lions tour under Ebola rules after Kenya trip
According to The Guardian, 22-year-old Glamorgan cricketer Asa Tribe has been barred from joining the England Lions squad in St Kitts and Nevis following his recent visit to Kenya to play for Jersey. The government of St Kitts and Nevis has implemented a 21-day non-entry rule for non-nationals who have visited Kenya and seven other African countries due to the Ebola outbreak. Tribe, who was traveling to the Caribbean after his final match in Nairobi on 27 October, discovered the restriction while in Paris and has since returned to the UK. The England and Wales Cricket Board stated they are in contact with relevant authorities, but given that all matches are scheduled in St Kitts until 16 November, it appears unlikely he will join the tour.
