Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the film's cumulative domestic gross was estimated at approximately $671.2 million by the end of Tuesday. The film earned nearly $17 million on Monday, and Deadline anticipates a similar figure for Tuesday, accounting for standard mid-week ticket discounting. Spider-Man: A New Day will also be the fourth Marvel Cinematic Universe title to exceed $700 million in the US market. It joins Avengers: Endgame ($858.3 million), Spider-Man: No Way Home ($814.8 million), and Black Panther ($700.4 million). This report comes ahead of the film's third weekend of release, with Deadline noting that Spider-Man: A New Day will face competition in the domestic market from the dinosaur film End of Oak Street.
