35-year-old Israeli man found dead in Bangkok hotel

A 35-year-old Israeli man, who was vacationing in Thailand, has died in his hotel room in Bangkok. The emergency response organization ZAKA reported on Saturday that the man, who was married and a father of one daughter, was found lifeless in his room. Baruch Nidam, head of ZAKA’s international division, stated that the organization immediately began working with local Thai authorities to ensure the proper handling of the body and to arrange for its release. ZAKA’s international team is currently coordinating with Rabbi Nechemia Wilhelm, the Chabad emissary in Thailand, and Israel’s Foreign Ministry to repatriate the man’s body to Israel as soon as possible.
