Israeli man found dead in Bangkok hotel

A 35-year-old Israeli citizen, who was vacationing in Thailand, has been found dead in his hotel room in Bangkok. The man was married and a father to one daughter. ZAKA stated that its International Division began coordinating with local authorities upon receiving the report to ensure the deceased is treated with dignity and to facilitate the procedures for his repatriation to Israel. ZAKA is working alongside Rabbi Nechemia Wilhelm, the Chabad-Lubavitch emissary in Thailand, the Israeli Foreign Ministry, and other officials to return the body for burial as soon as possible. In a separate incident, it was reported that a young Israeli man died last Wednesday following a motorcycle accident in Kanchanaburi Province. According to local reports, the man was riding a heavy motorcycle when he collided with a pickup truck traveling in the opposite direction, and emergency personnel pronounced him dead at the scene.
