Human Rights Education Resources for Write for Rights 2026
Amnesty International announced that ahead of December 10, Human Rights Day, it has released special educational resources for the 2026 'Write for Rights' campaign. These resources are designed to empower teachers and facilitators to teach human rights concepts and encourage activism. The educational package covers three main themes: Freedom of Expression and Suppression of Dissent, Freedom of Peaceful Assembly and Participation in Public Affairs, and Protection from Arbitrary Detention and Enforced Disappearance. These resources are based on real cases of individuals facing human rights violations worldwide and are provided as flexible modules for use in classrooms or community groups.
