Netflix announces release date for The Body starring Sophia Wilde and Gabby Windey

Netflix has announced that the eight-part series The Body, created and written by Quinn Shephard, will premiere on 11 November. The streaming platform simultaneously released first-look images featuring Sophia Wilde, Gabby Windey, and the wider cast. The story follows a group of troubled teenage girls at a Catholic school who begin experiencing prophetic visions after a dance team initiation ceremony goes wrong. These visions trigger a wave of mass hysteria throughout the town, driving the narrative into a dark and tense drama. Shephard serves as showrunner and directed the first episode. The newly released images show Gabby Windey as Coach Miller and Christina Bogich as Anya. Netflix previously confirmed that 11 actors have joined the production in recurring roles.
