New poll: Eisenkot’s ‘Yashar!’ party leads Likud by six seats

According to a new poll conducted for the Maariv newspaper, if elections were held today, the 'Yashar!' party led by Gadi Eisenkot would secure 26 Knesset seats, leading the Likud party, which would win 20 seats, by a margin of six. The 'Together' party, led by former prime ministers Naftali Bennett and Yair Lapid, would place third with 14 seats. Yisrael Beytenu and the Democrats are projected to win 10 seats each, followed by Otzma Yehudit with nine, United Torah Judaism with eight, Shas with seven, and Hadash-Ta'al with six. The Religious Zionist party and the United Arab List (Ra'am) are each projected to win five seats. Divided by blocs, the center-left would reach 60 seats, one short of a Knesset majority, while the current coalition parties would secure 49 seats. Ra'am leader Mansour Abbas has expressed interest in joining a future coalition to unseat the current government. Several parties, including 'Zionist Home', the 'Economic' party, a new party led by Ofer Winter, 'Balad', Benny Gantz's 'Blue and White', and 'Unity' led by Gilad Erdan, failed to pass the electoral threshold.
