Volodymyr Zelenskyy warns of potential Russian attacks on other European countries

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, speaking to Fox News Digital following his meeting with Donald Trump in New York, warned of the potential for Russia to expand its war into other European countries. He emphasized that given Moscow's inability to achieve its military objectives in Ukraine, the risk of drone, missile, or ground operations against countries bordering Russia and Belarus is "very high." According to Zelenskyy, Vladimir Putin may seek to incite instability elsewhere in Europe to pressure Western governments into reducing their support for Kyiv. He added that Russia is already attempting to intimidate European societies and test their responses through drone incursions and disruptions. When asked how Europe should respond, Zelenskyy stated, "Respond. Always respond. If you don't respond, Russians, they will go further." This warning comes amid growing concerns from European leaders, including German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, regarding Russian hybrid warfare and threats against NATO. In recent months, reports of suspicious drone incursions into the airspace of Romania, Lithuania, and Moldova have heightened alarms regarding the security of Europe's eastern flank.
