Keke Palmer, Alan Cumming and Jeremy Irons projects head to TIFF financing market

Projects featuring Keke Palmer, Alan Cumming, Jeremy Irons and Deepa Mehta are among the selections for the inaugural Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) Industry Market. According to Deadline, the market will run from 10 to 16 September, presenting 51 projects seeking production and financing partners. The slate comprises 40 feature films, six series and five immersive or interactive works. Notable projects include the animated film Central Park Story, which features a voice cast including Keke Palmer, Alan Cumming, Common and Regina Hall. Also featured is the film Evil, a project that sees director Deepa Mehta, known for Fire, Earth and Water, collaborating with Jeremy Irons. The list also includes a drama starring Oscar-winner Marlee Matlin and Room actor Jacob Tremblay, though further plot details for this project have not been disclosed.
