Police reveal new details regarding the disappearance of Mali and Liel Yahalomi

In an interview with Kol Berama, Bankin explained that the investigation initially operated under the assumption of an abduction, but later shifted as evidence suggested the disappearance was a planned event. According to Bankin, the circulation of rumors and fake news complicated the investigation, prompting police to work on clarifying the situation to the public. The breakthrough occurred several days ago when investigators received indications that the pair were in Argentina, shifting the focus of the search to South America. Bankin assessed that during their disappearance, the two were likely unaware of the scale of the search efforts due to their isolation. She noted that significant resources were expended on the search, adding that following their discovery, police involvement has concluded and their connection with the authorities has ended.
