The Pentagon has issued an order to US military officials to cease using the designation 'Operation Epic Fury' when referring to conflicts involving Iran. The directive was communicated via an email sent on August 7. According to the report, military leaders have been instructed to instead refer to these engagements as 'overseas operations in the CENTCOM AOR [US Central Command Area of Responsibility].' The Jerusalem Post reported the development based on the contents of the aforementioned email.
