Atlantic Records & Teddy Park’s The Black Label Join K-Pop Thriller ‘Perfect Girl’

According to an exclusive report by Deadline, Atlantic Records and Teddy Park’s Korean outfit The Black Label have come on to produce the soundtrack for the upcoming K-pop thriller Perfect Girl. Atlantic and The Black Label are also joining Badlands, Thunder Road, and Renegade as producers on the project, with Atlantic President Kevin Weaver serving as an executive producer. Described by producers as Scream meets Black Swan, Perfect Girl charts the story of a new female supergroup preparing for their debut. The synopsis states that with only four spots available and the final cut a week away, the competition is off the charts, and when a talented and mysterious new candidate is introduced at the last minute, things get strange as girls are hunted and attacked one by one, leaving the question of who is responsible for the carnage and who will make the final cut. The cast includes Kim Si-yoon, Park Chaerin, Ally Nitibhon, Adeline Rudolph, Jeon Somi, Nancy McDonie, Samantha Cochran, and Emily Mei, with filming currently underway.
