Pippa Harris and James Wilson to headline BFI London Film Festival industry talks

Pippa Harris, producer of 'Hamnet' and '1917', and James Wilson, producer of 'The Zone of Interest', are set to participate in separate industry sessions at the 68th BFI London Film Festival this October. Harris, who co-founded Neal Street Productions with director Sam Mendes, is currently overseeing the production of a four-film Beatles biopic project. Each film will focus on a different member of the band, with Paul Mescal, Joseph Quinn, Barry Keoghan, and Harris Dickinson starring under the direction of Mendes. In a dedicated festival conversation, Harris will discuss her innovative work, the challenges of project development, and her long-standing collaborations with creative talent. Her filmography includes the Oscar, Golden Globe, and BAFTA-winning '1917', as well as 'Hamnet' and the Oscar and BAFTA-nominated 'Revolutionary Road'. Her credits also include 'The Magic Faraway Tree', starring Andrew Garfield and Claire Foy, and 'Jarhead'. Her television portfolio features productions such as 'Call the Midwife', 'Penny Dreadful', 'Britannia', 'The Hollow Crown', and 'Stuart: A Life Backwards'. James Wilson will lead a separate industry session to discuss his professional experience and his approach to film production. These events form part of the professional programme at this year's festival.
