Mattot Arim Parliamentary Achievement Report Ahead of Likud Primaries

Ahead of the Likud primaries scheduled for Monday, August 17, the NGO Mattot Arim has released its 2026 Parliamentary Achievement Report. The report, based on a 160-page list of ideological achievements, evaluates Likud Knesset members and ministers based on their legislative and ideological activity. According to the findings, high-scoring members include Justice Minister Yariv Levin, and MKs Amit Halevy, Ariel Kallner, Nisim Vaturi, Zev Elkin, Tali Gottlieb, Moshe Saada, Avichai Buaron, Communications Minister Shlomo Kari, and Minister Amichai Shikli. In contrast, several other Likud members were found to have generated fewer than ten achievements. The organization also vetted new local candidates on issues such as support for resettling Gaza and the application of Article 80 of the UN Charter regarding Jewish land rights in the region.
