Yoseph Haddad registers ‘Brave Israel’ party ahead of Israeli elections

According to Ynet, public diplomacy activist Yoseph Haddad is preparing for a potential entry into Israeli politics and has submitted a request to register a new party called 'Brave Israel.' Although Haddad's name does not appear on the official registration documents, sources familiar with the process confirmed the party is being formed on his behalf. Haddad, 41, who comes from an Arab Christian family in Nazareth, served in the IDF's Golani Brigade and was wounded during the Second Lebanon War. The party's stated objectives emphasize the need to 'understand the Middle Eastern mentality' and the establishment of a proactive, offensive public diplomacy apparatus as a core component of Israel's national security doctrine. Reports indicate that Haddad is also in talks regarding potential cooperation with Brig. Gen. (res.) Ofer Winter, the former Givati Brigade commander who is also working to establish a political platform. Haddad's representatives stated that he is considering entering political life and is currently holding meetings to examine his next steps. Meanwhile, speculation persists regarding a possible candidacy for a reserved slot on the Likud party list.
