UNESCO: Six in seven journalist murders go unpunished

The UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) stated in its latest report that six out of seven journalist murders remain unpunished. The report indicates that for the first time in more than a decade, global impunity for those responsible for killing journalists has risen. Furthermore, UNESCO warned that the growing use of drones has become an emerging threat to the safety of reporters in conflict zones.
