Real Madrid to Face Inter Milan in Champions League Opener

According to UEFA, 15-time European champion Real Madrid will open its Champions League campaign on September 8 by hosting Inter Milan. The full schedule for the 36 teams was released two days after the draw in Monaco. On the opening day, Club Brugge will host Aston Villa, while AEK Athens welcomes LASK. Paris Saint-Germain will host Slovan Bratislava, coached by Yaya Touré, on the following day, alongside a match between Liverpool and Atletico Madrid. Other notable fixtures include Manchester City hosting PSG on October 14, and Barcelona facing PSG in Paris on October 20.
